Kanooma does not make any representation or warranty, express or implied, of any kind with respect thereto. Kanooma cannot accept responsibility where a hotel discontinues offers.
When making a hotel reservation through Kanooma, you will need to provide us with your credit card information that is forwarded securely to the hotel to guarantee the reservation. In all cases, once the booking is confirmed, you are subject to the terms and conditions of that hotel’s cancellation policy.
Hotel ratings displayed on our website are in US dollars and are intended as guidelines only. Kanooma does not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings or the availability for the desired dates. Room rate quotations given at the time of securing your booking with Kanooma is the price which you will pay for your accommodation. Be aware other charges may apply to the booking, which can vary per destination or accommodation.Any advance deposits, additional fees or charges will always be clearly marked before you confirm your booking. Once paid, these additional charges are non-refundable. You shall also pay in full for any additional services that the hotel provides, which are not explicitly covered by the quoted Kanooma room rate. (e.g. Room service, minibar use etc.)
The outstanding balance of the retail price of the hotel room(s) reserved, as well as any additional charges that may be incurred during your stay at the hotel will be settled by you directly with the hotel in its local currency.
Once you send us a room request by email or by phone, Kanooma will send you an email including the room rate and available dates. Subject to confirmation by the hotel concerned, and also to your provision of valid and correct credit card information for payment, your reservation will be irrevocably binding after your booking confirmation done by email. Kanooma will send you a confirmation of your booking usually within 8 business hours after you submit your reservation. If your reservation is not accepted, we will make every effort to provide you with a comparable alternative, but you are freely entitled to choose whether or not to accept such an alternative.
Our confirmation email will serve as proof of valid reservation and will contain relevant information about the reservation and particulars of the hotel concerned. Please read and check carefully all the information contained in our confirmation email to ensure that it conforms to your reservation. You are required to present our confirmation email when checking in at the hotel, in addition to a valid ID card or passport.
Refunds will be made by the same method used to pay for the booking. Any payment made by credit card will be returned to that card.
By recommending hotels in particular countries and regions, Kanooma does not represent or warrant that travel to such destinations is advisable or without risk, and is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to such destinations.
VISA & TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Kanooma only acts as an intermediary between you and the hotels listed on www.kanooma.com, and therefore does not provide any information regarding visas and/ or travel documents that may be requested by authorities.You are responsible to make absolutely certain to have the proper immunizations and required documentation of such immunizations before travel, and to make the necessary accommodation for security rules imposed by government authorities. Kanooma shall not assume responsibility for the accuracy of health requirements or vaccination and/or documentation prior to departure or upon landing at the final destination.
During the reservation process you receive the booking conditions of the hotel. Each hotel has its own terms and conditions for cancelling confirmed reservations. These terms and conditions will be send to you before any confirmation. You are strongly advised to read them carefully before confirming your reservation. You will be bound by such terms and conditions once your reservation is confirmed.
In the event of cancellation, we suggest that you contact us directly in writing to [email protected] in order to minimize any possible penalty or charges. If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed booking, cancellation/amendment charges may be payable to the hotel. The amount of such charges will depend on the hotel cancellation policy and usually varies according to the period of notice given.Once your booking has been cancelled, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email at the email address from which you have made the cancellation request.
In the event that a hotel needs to cancel or amend a booking it may be able to offer an alternative or provide a refund, depending on its cancellation policy.
Any disputes relating to cancellation of reservation shall be dealt with or settled directly between you and the hotel concerned, and Kanooma will not be involved or be held responsible in any way.
No claim whatsoever shall be made by you against Kanooma in respect of any penalty or charges levied by the hotel concerned as a result of your cancellation of a reservation and you shall seek your redress, if any, directly against the hotel concerned.
BEST RATE GUARANTEE
We guarantee that you will not get a better price for an identical product, booked at the same time, by contacting the hotel directly. In the event that you do, you can let us know by email within 12 hours of making the booking confirmation and before any hotel cancellation fees apply. The lower rate must be available at the time of the request, for publicly available online bookings, with exactly the same details (the same hotel, room, services, number of guests, amenities, dates, currency, and cancellation/booking conditions). The guarantee does not apply to non-refundable rates, club or reward programs, travel packages, travel agencies or other organizations that are not visible for the general public, corporate discounts, auction or opaque websites, coupons or group rates.
Kanooma reserves the right to cancel any booking if it has a reasonable suspicion that there has been fraudulent use of the website or that the identity of a customer or their banking and personal details have been usurped.
Kanooma takes privacy and confidentiality issues very seriously. We respect all your personal information that you provide to us on our website and by email. Unless you specify otherwise or we state otherwise in this policy or at the time information is collected, any personal information you provide to Kanooma will not be divulged to third parties without your permission unless where required by law. The bookings contract is established between you and the hotel; therefore, any claim or complaint should be addressed directly to the hotel concerned.
Any disputes arising between you and the hotels with regard to their charges, quality of services, facilities or other matters, will remain private between the parties of the contract, excluding Kanooma from any involvement.
